Matt: I noticed on your blog that you like horror and/or fantasy films. When I being raised as a Lutheran, I would often be asked why I liked to watch these types of movies, and I couldn't articulate why. Well, it's 40 years later, and I still like to watch 'em. (Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings," "A Boy and His Dog," "2001" are favorites.) Have you ever had to defend your movie choices to other Christians, or is that a big issue anymore? (It was in among some eldsetrs in the uptight '60s.) Can movies conflict with Christian values? Can they contrast and bring home said values?
