venti white chocolate mocha, please

Alas, there will be 600 fewer Starbucks in the universe. Do you live near one that will soon close? I have two that are about a mile from my house, and the one built just a few months ago was spared the axe. Naturally, the one spared is the one closer to the interstate and to other stores. The one axed is across the street from a grocery store, a drugstore, a Dairy Queen and a hospital.

    Matt: I'm sure the impending closing of the hospital has a lot to do with the closing of the nearby Starbucks.

    Matt: St. Francis soon will move all patient servicesm employees and offices to its Emerson Street campus. BG city officials will have a huge challenge on their hands figuring out what to do the empty, behemoth buildings.

    I spoke with a St. Francis employee, who confirmed this and said it won't happen for several years.
