FoxNews recently submitted 21 questions about the Mormon faith to officials of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Rob Bowmanand James White examined the answers.
It's not so much bashing others' beliefs, but pointing out that there are distinct differences between Mormonism and historic Christianity. What the Mormons believe is much closer to pantheism than anything else. The answers to the 21 questions seem to be carefully worded, politically correct answers, not answers that have historically been given as James White shows.
It would be interesting how representative answers from Roman Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, or Lutherans would withstand scrutiny from critics.
ReplyDeleteI have friends from several faiths, and the amount of bashing of others' beliefs, even among civilized tongues, amazes me.
