total eclipse of the moon

I've been fortunate enough to see several lunar eclipses, and now we have another one. The skies are quite clear here in central Indiana, so the moon is quite visible. Right now it looks as if the left lower chunk of the moon is missing. If you've never seen a lunar eclipse and the skies are clear in your area, put away your laptop and get outside. Unlike a solar eclipse which lasts only minutes, the lunar eclipse spans several hours, so you have some time left.

NASA has some good information on the lunar eclipse, including some tips for taking photographs.
